Fire ant zones

Key interactive tools

  • Finding your way through the changes

Our two purpose-built tools have been updated to reflect the changes to the zones. These tools make it easier for industry and the community to find out what movement controls apply to them. Why not give them a try?

    1. Interactive biosecurity zones map — with a property address and suburb search function, this helps users quickly identify which fire ant biosecurity zones they’re in and what requirements are applicable to them.
2.Fire ant advice compliance tool— an interactive decision tree that provides users with the actions required for specific situations. This means that anyone wanting to move materials that may carry fire ants can answer a series of easy online questions and find out what steps they need to follow to move the material while abiding by the Biosecurity Regulation 2016.
